1) Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Chibber
It’s only natural for the King of Romance of Bollywood to have a story just as romantic. Shahrukh met Gauri at a party when he was 18 and despite him being a somewhat shy person, decided to talk to her. Eventually, their relationship kept growing till finally, Shahrukh popped up the question. Of course, Gauri said yes but her parents initially were against it as they were Hindu-Brahmin and Shahrukh was a Muslim. But our lovebirds didn’t let that stop them and managed to convince Gauri’s parents (Shahrukh’s natural charisma would have been a big help here, we’re guessing).
After years of marriage, their love is still strong. This is what King Khan said in an interview: “We have known each other for so long, we have surpassed a stage. One of the stages that we have passed is that we don’t need to sit under a moonlit night. I think just passing each other across from the bedroom to the living room is romantic. Love is in the air. We have wonderful children who are a proof that we have a wild, loud, screaming romance going on in the house all day long.”

2) Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor
Breaking all the stereotypes, Saif and Kareena fell in love on the sets of the movie ‘Tashan’ and after a five-year long relationship got hitched in October 2012. After all the grand pre-wedding celebrations, the two engaged in a simple registered marriage at Saif’s residence. Then, the two exchanged vows at The Taj Mahal Hotel; this shows their secular outlook on marriage as they didn’t engage in the saat pheras or any particular style of wedding.
Kareena being 10 years younger to Saif, they also showed the world that along with religion, age too, cannot come between love. They are living a happy life which has become even happier after the birth of their first baby, Taimur Ali Khan in December 2016.

3) Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao
Unlike the love at first sight moments, Aamir first met Kiran when she was working as an assistant director for the movie ‘Lagaan’ in the year 2001. They resorted to getting to know each other better and it took a while for them to fall in love with each other. Three years after the divorce from his first wife, Reena Dutta, Aamir married Kiran on 28th of December, 2005.
Kiran revealed in an interview that as a teenager, she had watched ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ which starred Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla and that she loved him in it and thought to herself “what a cute guy!”and that she had not imagined in her wildest dreams that years later they would actually get married and have kids with the ‘cute guy’.
4) Imraan Khan and Avantika Malik
Talking of famous Bollywood Khans, how can we leave the most adorable one? Imraan met Avantika when he was just 19 years old and their love is strong ever since. After dating for almost a decade, the pair finally got married in January 2011. And what is absolutely adorable is the way Imraan proposed to his dream woman: He sneaked into her house and decorated her room with candles and flowers and then popped up the big question. So dreamy.

5) Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar
Irrfan met his lady love back when he was doing a course in the National School of Drama. The two became good friends and by the end of the course, were head over heels in love with each other. Soon enough, Irrfan and Sutapa got married in a beautiful ceremony in 1995 and have been happily together since. They are also parents to two young boys, Babil and Ayan.

A typical Hindu-Muslim case, this one. The duo was in love and wanted to get married but sure enough, Seema’s parents were against it, so they did the next best thing: they eloped! Since she was a Hindu, they first got married in an Arya Samaj followed by a nikah in the evening. Sohail’s family accepted this relationship with grace and the couple is living their ‘happily ever after’ along with two young boys, Nirvaan and Yohan.

7) Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora
It was love at first sight for this duo when they met in 1993 for a commercial shoot for Mr. Coffee. They were together for 5 long years till finally they got married in December of 1998. Malaika being a Hindu-Christian, her mom’s only condition for agreeing to their marriage was if they have a church wedding and Arbaaz being the obedient son-in-law agreed in no time. They had a church wedding in the morning followed by a nikah in the evening. The couple shared a strong bond of love for 18 years of marriage until sadly, they separated recently.
