Exercises You Should Try Before the Wedding – Wedamor
With your big wedding day just around the corner, you might start worrying about fitness. Getting into that suit or wedding dress can become a lot more of an issue than you might first assume it would be. To help you make more intelligent decisions about what kind of exercises you should try out, then, we recommend that you take a look at our exercises you should try before the wedding.
So, where should you start if you want to make sure you are in good shape come the big day?
What works best?
When should you start working out prior to the big day?
First off, you should make sure that you give yourself at least twelve weeks of ‘training’ time to get into shape. This is great for making sure you can give yourself a good 3-4 weeks to get used to the idea of dieting, changing your lifestyle and everything else that you will need to do.
You will also need another week or two to get used to the exercise regimes that you will be taking on. If you give yourself as much as time as this, you will have the best part of three months to make sure you are suitably prepared come the big day. It’s a small thing, but it is so important that you have enough time for both trial and error.
If you start exercising too late, the results could prove more hindrance than a help.
Start with a chest press
One of the first places we recommend that you work on is your upper body. These exercises take a lot of physical prowess, and thus it will force you to get into good shape to carry them out. Chest presses are excellent as they work the chest area and also your triceps. Do this for long enough, and you will start to notice a difference to your upper body shape.
We also recommend that you start trying out these exercises with the help of a machine, then you can progress onto using dumbbells once you have built up some strength. This can help you to make sure you are in tremendous shape prior to the experience. If you do that, then you are much more likely to be physically strong enough to take on some of the other exercises that we recommend. Before long, you’ll find that the chest press is a good place to start with moving forward.
Work on those shoulders, as well
Another place to start is to begin a workout regime that makes you work on the shoulders. As part of the wider suit/dress combination, some shoulder presses are very much a good idea for you to begin working with. This will give you a bit of extra self-belief physically, as bumpy or flabby shoulders can be a huge source of loss of self-belief.
Try and mix in some shoulder presses alongside a happy mixture of lateral raises and front raises. This will get the shoulder joints worked out well, ensuring they look – and feel – excellent.
Don’t forget about the behind
Your rear also needs a good bit of work if you want to make sure you look as fit and as toned as you possibly can. To do that, we recommend that you start out with some hip thruster workouts. These often feel good and will give you a good way to work on the glutes and hamstrings. That is another thing, too; you need strong, secure and very sturdy hamstrings to help support your body during the big day.
Wearing those uncomfortable shoes will come with plenty of discomforts, so you need good, sturdy quads to make sure you can get through the day without feeling too uncomfortable. This will also have a nice positive impact on the shape of your rear, which is obviously something that we should all pay attention to when it comes to our big day. Keep that in mind, and you should see some pretty decent results.
Add in some squats and lunges
Next up for us would be a happy mixture of squats and lunges. This is often a great way to build up physical conditioning and should go some way to making sure you can feel pretty good physically as you work out. They are intensive workout programs that will target the quadriceps and the hamstring as well as the glutes.
If you do that for long enough, you are far more likely to get the job done physically. It’s a highly recommended workout for numerous reasons, not least the fact that this often leaves you with very toned legs. Given that you often need to fight into a tight dress or a very tight pair of trousers, you will want to do all that you can to ensure that your legs fit into that particular set-up.
Get out there and go for a run
Lastly, we want to make sure you are capable of handling the pace of the day as much as anything else. You will find that one of the best things you can do is start to go for a run and a jog session every day. A quick run around will be good for the body and the stamina, while a jog is good for handling the mental duress that you are under. There is more to a wedding than simply being in good physical shape for the photos; you need a fit body to handle the stress of the evening.
If you want to help make sure you can handle the big wedding day, then, start tapping into this particular train of thought. You will start to notice that going for a bit of running and/or jogging will produce great physical results, and it will also ensure that you get a much more rounded physical appearance. It’s good for weight loss and even better for making sure that you can cut down on those growing stress levels.
Keep this in mind as you work-out, then; these simple exercises can make a huge difference to how you look come your special day.
