One of the hottest actresses of her time, Pooja Bedi got engaged to her boyfriend, Maneck Contractor. She gained fame from her role in ‘Jo Jeet Wohi Sikandar’. Previously married to Farhan Furniturewala, Pooja has now given marriage a second chance. She has two children from her first marriage, Aalia and Omar. On the lovers’ day, Valentine’s Day, she uploaded a picture on her Instagram and Twitter handle, sharing the big news to the world. Pooja Bedi has yet again, broken down the walls of marriage stereotype in the country and found love again.

Pooja Bedi and Maneck Contractor are in a relationship for a long time now. They have finally called it real when Pooja said ‘Yes’ to a sweeping proposal by Maneck. Pooja has also told us about this romantic incident in one of her captions saying “He has literally swept me off my feet… I accepted Maneck Contractor’s proposal whilst sailing in a hot air balloon. Wish all of you a lifetime of happiness & to always dream of a rainbow at the end of a storm”
As we can see how she flaunts her whopping sized engagement ring, its clear Pooja cannot keep calm about her happiness. The ring has lots of diamonds in double heart shape. And would you look at the size of it??
There is a thing or two that we can learn from Pooja Bedi’s journey of finding a loving partner after 16 long years. She spoke in an interview very recently about her experiences of her highs and lows of her personal life.
She says
“I got divorced on February 14, 2003, and got engaged on February 14, 2019. I have had relationships in between and my kids have liked every person that I have been with. But it is very different with Maneck – they adore him and want him in our lives forever. Our families have merged beautifully. He has a wonderful open-hearted, jovial, Parsi family, who welcomed me. My kids too, adore him.”
“Every time you are in a relationship, you hope that this is the one. However, when you meet the person you are destined to be with, you don’t hope, you just know that he is the one. The beauty of our relationship is that it has been effortless in every way.”
“Each and every relationship that I’ve been in since has added so many dimensions and color to my life. Most people look back at their past and are filled with regret or pain. I look back with so much gratitude, for good times shared and also, most importantly for teaching me what I don’t want or will not accept. I grew up in times where the word “compromise” was integral to relationships and it was mainly women who bent and even broke just to hold onto their marriages.”

Well, It’s Never Too Late to Love Again
Pooja and Maneck’s engagement took place in Oberoi Vilas Hotel, Udaipur with a full-fledged family celebration. And they look absolutely stunning. The couple wore Libas India by Reshma Riyaz Gangji and Pooja’s jewellery by Farah Ali Khan.
Pooja also reveals her plans on getting married later this year. Aalia is prepping for her Bollywood debut and Omar is still finishing college. According to the dates that adjust Aalia’s shoots and Omar’s holidays, Pooja and Maneck will tie the knot in a (we are expecting so) Big Fat Indian Wedding.
