This was my first ever Muslim Wedding Photography. A very traditional Islamic Wedding at Sambhal near Moradabad. I was amazed to see the richness of culture that has been preserved through the ages. The whole affair was conducted in a most traditional Islamic style. Palanquins, I thought were things of the past. But here our bride was brought home in a traditional palanquin, right from the venue till home, a distance of say 1 or 2 kilometers. The brothers and cousins were all very happy to carry her on their shoulders.
