A Facetime Photoshoot Guide For Corona Weddings – Wedamor
The lockdown in many countries around the world, including India, has affected everyone’s lives to various degrees. Couples were forced to delay or postpone their ceremonies. But we love how this lockdown brings the best of people, much like those couples who didn’t let Coronavirus harm their preparations and had their pre-wedding shoots on Facetime. Have you ever seen it?
We think it’s a brilliant concept and maintaining the rules of social distance in mind is something that couples need to follow. If you think such photos aren’t going to turn out to be good enough, then you’re very wrong. So, check out the following couple that had a beautiful pre-wedding photoshoot on Facetime.
What Is Facetime Photoshoot
When you’re planning a FaceTime session, it doesn’t actually have to be over the FaceTime app installed on your iPhones. The general idea is to have a virtual photoshoot using a video media platform. The Russian photographer Konstantin Chalabov appears to be the first to have begun this process by organizing a photoshoot via the FaceTime video call.
With the photographer on one end of the call and the customer on the other, interaction and understanding is the only secret to create beautiful images. This has some disadvantages too like the photographer can’t just walk up to change lighting or prop in the shot. The photographer will only have to manage the natural lights. Therefore, this trend of Facetime photoshoot is slightly difficult.
What You’ll Need For This Virtual Facetime Photoshoot
- Smartphone- It doesn’t have to be an Apple gadget. You can use any smartphone you want.
- Phone Tripod/selfie stick: If this is not an option, you should use daily items. Ironing boards and coasters can be used to help stabilize the camera for certain shots.
- Bluetooth trigger: this may be an Apple Watch or a Bluetooth remote selfie stick, or a 10-second timer can also be set. This timer will probably make the shoot a little more difficult for both you and your client, so you can look for the other alternatives.
- Laptop: You may either need to Zoom or FaceTime your client(s) to see the situation, give them directions, and see the perspective of the camera before you take
Facetime Photoshoot Of Aditya And Amit
Aditya and Amit are from New Jersey. They met three years ago. And, they just needed one date to know that their relationship was worth pursuing. We appreciate how they’re not afraid to express their affection for each other in front of others, so they’re sure to inspire others. They expressed their interaction working with Naman over FaceTime and were not sure where to start. They didn’t know how their photos were going to come out. However, Naman explained the whole method to them and his instructions were very clear.
They began with location searching, which was primarily looking for aesthetically appealing corners around their house. Then they went on to figure out the best angles on the iPhone. For outfits, they chose printed shirts that contrasted nicely with their minimalistic interiors. Naman even used the gold elements in the living room to give a pop of color to the pictures as the clothes were neutral.
From the poor internet connectivity to the accuracy of the shots things can go wrong. But, we appreciate how the couple won’t let the Coronavirus pandemic affect their wedding plans. Again, there is no force greater than the strength of love. So, if you’ve delayed your wedding too, don’t panic, because your Wedding Day is going to be a lot more memorable now.
