This is Wedding Photography. A very traditional Hindu Wedding. He was amazed to see the richness of culture that has been preserved through the ages. The whole affair was conducted in a most traditional Hindu style. Palanquins, I thought were things of the past. But here our bride was brought home in a traditional palanquin, right from the venue till home, a distance of say 1 or 2 kilometers. The brothers and cousins were all very happy to carry her on their shoulders.
I am glad I could show a glimpse of traditional wedding photography and the rituals that are followed because for a person residing in the metropolis, its almost impossible to touch base with the traditional customs.
