Moss Green Lehenga

This lehenga from his ‘KesriBai Pannalal’ collection is quite a head-turner, and several brides chose this for their big day. This silk lehenga features intricate silk thread embroidery, beaten gold bullion and is embedded with semi-precious stones. The bride has paired this with temple jewellery with guttapusalu detailing from Sabyasachi’s Heritage Jewellery collection which includes an oversized Chaandbali maang tikka, a two-layered necklace and statement earrings.

Neon Lime Green Lehenga

Alia Bhatt wore this vibrant lime green lehenga to Sonam Kapoor’s reception, and it proved to be quite a head-turner. This creation is a mix of organza and silk, which is hand-embroidered with floral motifs in silver thread. The half-sleeved and round-necked blouse gives her a sophisticated look. A sheer dupatta of the same colour and matching border completes the look. She chose a statement choker from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery and sat very well with the high-necked blouse. Considering the high necked blouse and elaborate choker, the actress has decided not to wear earrings, and it sure looks like she made the right choice.

The Dil-Guldasta Lehenga

If we had to pick the most original and eccentric design from Sabyasachi’s collection, then this would be it. This is one of the pre-wedding looks of Deepika Padukone and amongst the one that was the most talked about. Elaborate thread work in red, pink and green cover every inch of the lehenga.  The lehenga itself is made of Bordeaux silk and features hand-dyed appliques, gold and silver thread work and embedded with crystals and rhinestones. The look was rounded off with an emerald choker and gold kadas. What really brought the look together was the crown braid adorned with red roses and her midnight blue smoky eyes.
