India’s most beloved designer known for the best of the bridal trousseau, ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee dropped his latest collection of 2108 on Instagram and it’s gorgeous. We bet that you definitely want to know more about it.
The collection is called “Sabyasachi Spring-Summer 2018: An Endless Summer” and is awesomely shot at Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad. It has been divided into three categories or broadly speaking themes- florals, bright colors and a lineup of ivory and gold looks inspired by Lutyens’ Delhi. We would describe it in two words – “vibrant” and “mesmerizing”.
Missing out on the runaway, Sabyasachi’s latest collection was introduced on Instagram with a caption of the teaser video that said “Destination weddings are quite shaping the future of bridal wear. Taking cues from our heritage, and marrying them to contemporary needs, we at Sabyasachi are constantly redefining Indian bridal wear.” The latest collection brings forward ready-to-wear bridal couture. It is effortlessly chic with the clothes becoming “lighter, brighter, measured and sophisticated” at the same time.
The mix up of the mesmerizing effervescent colors, the blouses, and the florals will just your breath away. And the “au natural” look just bring the royal in you back. All of the wonderful pieces when paired with the beautiful Sabyasachi heritage jewellery along with the shoes featured by Christian Louboutin just increases the beauty of Sabyasachi’s latest collection.
Sabyasachi believes as one of his caption describing his awesome collection that after the most awaited wedding of Anushka Sharma the “au natural” had been trending. In such a trench the color is derived from the makeup into the clothes. Simple makeup with “glossy and glassy lips”, the forever going open hair and statement jewellery gives the look a new dimension. Bold colors had taken the center stage and a traditional mang-tikka gives it a new accent among all the florals and turquoise silk.
