Cropped Lehengas
These are the newest trend in town, and a lot of brides are opting for them. “Papa Don’t Preach”, and Anita Dongre’s Grassroot labels are great labels for cropped lehengas. The length of the lehenga varies from ankle to knee length. An added perk is that the lehenga looks absolutely ravishing when you dance.
Some brides are choosing these knee-length lehengas over ankle-length ones, especially for Mehndi functions. The great thing about them is that you can apply Mehndi all the way up to your knees without any hassle and also flaunt it for pictures.
Metallic Lehengas
Another trend which has been recently sported by many celebrities is metallic lehengas. They have a Bollywood vibe about and will make you look like the diva that you are. Opt for this for a night event, preferably your reception night. You can choose something with elaborate cutwork or something simpler with metallic thread work. Go for something with geometrical patterns to have an illusive effect.
